At 5 Dots we love helping companies grow. That growth can happen by accident, or on purpose. In addition, we believe that every sales professional and business leader would benefit from understanding the need for purpose in our lives and how that connects to our business.

Business growth starts with understanding the fundamentals of business development. The 5 Dots business development process has 5 steps, or 5 dots:

Although this process is simple and straight forward, taking action is what makes it work. At 5 Dots we help our clients take action. When you do business development right, everything comes to you!

In 2012 I was having the best year of my life. I was living in San Diego, my dream place to live, my business was thriving, I had joined the board of a non-profit that was providing computers to young people in Uganda, and I thought life was amazing. That was until I traveled to Uganda and Kenya to learn more.

On that trip I saw people that were infinitely happier than anyone I’ve ever met, and they had nothing. That trip started a journey that has taught me that happiness and joy do not live in achievement, they don’t live in building a bigger and more profitable business, and they don’t live in travel and great vacations. I have found that happiness and joy live inside of us, in how we perceive the world and how we perceive ourselves.
